Kontur JSC offers for public discussion a methodology for climate projects to increase carbon stocks of grassland ecosystems in permafrost areas through sustainable grazing.
Институтом глобального климата и экологии имени академика Ю. А. Израэля и ООО "АИМ Карбон" разработан проект методологи реализации климатических проектов по увеличению запасов углерода травянистых экосистем в районах залегания многолетней мерзлоты в результате устойчивого выпаса скота. По сообщению разработчика данная методология заложит основу для разработки первой базы в России для создания реального решения проблемы сохранения вечной мерзлоты. В будущем данная методология может стать основой для разработки аналогичных методологий, принимаемых другими национальными, международными и независимыми реестрами углеродных единиц и реализации аналогичных проектов в других странах, расположенных в зонах многолетней мерзлоты для решения глобальной проблемы изменения климата.
Срок общественных обсуждений – 1 месяц (до 10 февраля 2025 года).
