Launch has been given to the creation of a methodological base for climate projects of the Russian Carbon Units Registry
"Kontur" JSC publishes the Rules for the formation of the methodological base of the national carbon units operator. According to these Rules, the Operator will accept methodologies and methodological tools for inclusion in its methodological base. Draft methodologies can be developed by any interested person. A prerequisite for the adoption of methodologies is the passage of public discussions and obtaining independent expertise. The registry operator will ensure transparency and reliability of procedures related to the development of methodologies.
