"Polyus" has registered the first climate project
ПАО «Полюс» (MOEX — PLZL) («Полюс», «Компания») сообщает, что его дочерняя компания АО «Полюс Красноярск» успешно завершила валидацию и зарегистрировала климатический проект, реализованный на территориях золоторудных месторождений Олимпиада и Благодатное в Красноярском крае.
Это первый для «Полюса» проект, зарегистрированный в российском национальном реестре углеродных единиц АО «Контур».
В рамках проекта «Полюс Красноярск» построил и реконструировал несколько подстанций и воздушных линий электропередачи и перевел на территориях месторождений Олимпиада и Благодатное часть потребителей с электрогенерации на угольном и нефтяном топливе на менее углеродоемкое электроснабжение из сетей ПАО «Россети».
Реализация климатического проекта обеспечит сокращение выбросов парниковых газов совокупным объемом свыше 4,1 млн тонн CO2-эквивалента за период до 2028 г.
Валидатор — ФГБУ «Институт глобального климата и экологии им. Академика Ю.А. Израэля (ИГКЭ) — подтвердил, что проектная документация соответствует установленным критериям валидации и требованиям к климатическим проектам.
Регистрация проекта как климатического позволит «Полюс Красноярск» выпустить углеродные единицы для их дальнейшего использования в компании или продажи.
